Come support local men's soccer as the University of Portland Pilots take on Saint Mary's this Saturday 11-12, 7pm at Merlo field. The Pilots are happy to have the support of the Army and will have FREE seats in the stands behind the goal on the SW side. We will also have a keg of beer (available to participants who are 21+).
The Pilots are currently sitting at the top of the league, and and are in the top 30 in the country. Three Timbers Academy players, Reid Baez; Gio Magana-Rivera; and Brennan Weberare on the team. And USL Timbers Army folks will remember assistant coach Leonard Griffin, who was a UCLA teammate of Scot Thompson's who also played for the Timbers in the USL era.
