Join the Booked Library and Literary Outreach team for one of our most popular events of the year, cleaning books at The Children's Book Bank! This annual volunteer event is a great opportunity for members of all abilities and once again special guests will be on hand to join in the fun.
The volunteer work involves cleaning individual books to ready them for distribution to area youth and can be done while seated. Sign-ups are on a first come, first served basis and space will be limited to the first 35 registrants.
Volunteers are also welcome to donate new or gently used books for children from birth to grade 5. All participants will receive the Booked! patch for your do-goodery.
The Children's Book Bank's goal is to get books into the hands of children in our community who may not have books in the home. For more information about their mission and projects, check out their website at www.childrensbookbank.org.
