Bystander intervention training uses a community responsibility approach to teach bystanders how to safely intervene in instances where violence or harm may occur. Bystanders are witnesses who chose to be active, positive, contributors to help de-escalate situations where there is a risk of harm.

This fun, interactive training will allow participants to gain insight into the most challenging, yet crucial, aspects of being an active bystander:

  1. Identifying your responsibility to help
  2. Determining what barriers might prevent you from acting
  3. Establishing a plan for how to safely intervene
  4. Contributing to a culture where violence is not accepted as the norm

If you have specific situations you'd like covered, please fill out the scenario(s) here.
